Headway Institute of Strategic Alliance values our visitors’ and partners’ personal information and understands the need for security and trust regarding this information. The Headway Institute of Strategic Alliance (hereinafter referred to as “HISA,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this privacy policy which describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit the HISA website located at www.headwayinstitute.org, subscribe to our mailing list, or partner up with HISA, and our practices for collecting, using, protecting and disclosing that information. HISA may work with selected third parties to provide certain features on the Website such as social sharing functions. This privacy policy does not govern any information you choose to provide directly to such third parties. Such third parties have their own privacy policies that govern how they may collect, use, and disclose the information that you provide.

INFORMATION COLLECTION & USE

When using our site, you may voluntarily provide “personal information” that identifies you as an individual, including your name and contact information. We may use the personal information that you provide for our operational purposes, including the activities described below, but HISA never shares or sells individual information. We may also use the information that you provide to contact you with offers or items that may interest you. When you choose to provide us with personal information, we may combine it with other information about you that we receive from third parties.

REFUND POLICY

At HISA, we strive to provide our valued delgates with the best experience when it comes to our conferences. We understand, however, that there may be circumstances where a refund is necessary. This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds for conference registrations made through our online platform.

Refund Eligibility:

All the refunds shall be approved in the form of credit vouchers only, it can be used for our future conferences or events only.

The refund policy for each category is different and stated as follows:

Fully Funded/Partial Funded Delegates:

The registration fee for these categories are non-refundable or non-transferable.

Self Funded Delegates:

  • The delegate who have paid “Full Registration Fee” to register in this category are only eligible for the cash refunds.
  • If the delegate has paid the “Discounted Registration Fee” for participating in any of the HISA events, they are non-refundable/non-transferable.
  • The delegates who have paid their registration fee(s), can get a HISA Credit Voucher to use it for our future conference only upon satisfying following conditions:
  • The delegate has paid the entire conference fee, not in the form of installments.
  • The delegate has made the request for HISA credit voucher through an email, 45 days prior to the conference day first.

HISA Credit Voucher / HCV:

To obtain your HCV, you’ll have to email our team.
HISA credit voucher will only be valid for 1 year after the date of its issuance.
HISA credit voucher will only be valid to use it for HISA events only.
If the delegate has only paid first installment of the full conference fee, HISA Credit Voucher Policy cannot be applied & 100% of the first installment will be retained as cancellation fee.

Those delegates who have made the request for HISA credit voucher through an email, 30 days prior to the conference day first, they will be charged 50% of the paid amount as cancellation fee, and remaining amount will be refunded to them in the form of HCV only.

Those delegates who have made the request for HISA credit voucher through an email, 15 days prior to the conference day first, they will be charged 75% of the paid amount as cancellation fee, and remaining amount will be refunded to them in the form of HCV only.

Those delegates who have made the request for HISA credit voucher through an email, in less than 15 days prior to the conference day first, they will be charged 100% of the paid amount as cancellation fee & they will be considered as no-show.

Refund Process:

Refund Request Submission: To request a refund, please send an email to registration@headwayinstitute.org with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Conference Name]”. Please include the following information in your email:

– Full Name
– Order Number
– Reason for Refund Request
– Supporting Documentation (if applicable)

HISA Credit Voucher Terms and Conditions:

Redemption Period: Credit Vouchers will be valid for a period of 1 year from the date of issue.

Non-Transferable: Credit Vouchers are non-transferable and can only be used by the original recipient.

No Cash Value: Credit Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Partial Redemption: If the value of the Credit Voucher exceeds the cost of the conference registration, the remaining balance will be carried forward for future use.

Usage Limitation: Credit Vouchers can only be used for conference registrations organized by HISA.

Special Circumstances:

Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, acts of terrorism, unforeseen circumstances), HISA reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

By making a conference registration through HISA, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this refund policy.

Travel Reimbursement Policy for Fully Funded delegates:

  • Upon completion of an event, the Fully-Funded delegates who attended the event will be provided a form to fill out with some basic questions and their bank account details. After receiving those details, reimbursements will be made, and it can take 4-8 weeks.

Invitation Only Category:

The registration fee paid for getting the invitation letter is non-refundable and non-transferable. Getting visa is sole responsibility of the delegate. Institute will only provide an invitation letter for visa assistance.

AUTOMATICALLY-COLLECTED DATA

We and our service providers may use various technologies to collect data automatically about your use of our Website. We use this automatically-collected data for our operational purposes such as to administer and improve the site. We also use these technologies to personalize your experience with HISA. The technologies that we use may include, for example:

  • Log Files, which may collect information such as Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, geographic location, Internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp and clickstream data.
  • Persistent and session cookies.
  • Flash cookies (or local stored objects), which are not managed by the same browser settings as are used for browser cookies.
  • Web beacons, which may be embedded in our Website or used in HTML-based emails and newsletters to help measure the effectiveness of our electronic communications. If you would prefer to receive newsletters that do not contain such technologies, you can request text-only newsletters.

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE WEBSITE AND YOUR CHOICES

Newsletters and Promotional Communications: We provide you the opportunity to opt out of receiving newsletters and promotional email communications from us. If you no longer wish to receive electronic newsletters and/or promotional communications, you may opt out of receiving these communications by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication. After you opt out, we may continue to send invitations to donate to HISA unless you opt out separately from donation invitations as described in the paragraph below.

Donations: HISA may use your personal information to invite you to donate to us. If you prefer not to receive such correspondence, you can opt out by emailing info@headwayinstitute.org (Please note that opting out of donation emails will not affect your other HISA subscriptions, as each subscription is handled individually).

INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

Aggregate Information

At times, we share aggregated demographic information about our user base with selected thirdparty partners. We may also share de-identified information in our discretion. This aggregated or de-identified information does not identify individual users.
