Terms and Conditions for Fully Funded Applicants of Leadership Certification in Global Diplomacy 2026
By applying for the Leadership Certification in Global Diplomacy 2026 in Brussels, Belgium under the Fully Funded Category, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms are binding upon submission of your application, and acceptance of these conditions is mandatory to complete the application process.
1. Eligibility and Application Submission
1.1. Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements outlined on the official event website at the time of submission.
1.2. All information provided must be accurate, complete, and verifiable. Providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in disqualification without notice.
1.3. Submission of an application does not guarantee selection for the Fully Funded Category. The organizing committee reserves the right to select participants at its sole discretion, and all decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
1.4. Selected participants are required to confirm their attendance within the given timeframe. Failure to confirm may result in forfeiture of the Fully Funded benefit.
2. Non-Refundable Application Fee
2.1. Applicants under the Fully Funded Category are required to pay an application processing fee as part of the submission process.
2.2. The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Failure to be selected for the Fully Funded Category
- Withdrawal of the application by the applicant
- Postponement, cancellation, or change in the event date, venue, or format
2.3. By submitting your application and paying the fee, you acknowledge that no refunds will be provided for any reason.
3. Event Changes, Amendments, and Postponement
3.1. The organizing committee reserves the right to amend, modify, reschedule, or cancel the LCGD 2026 for any reason, including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, or political events.
3.2. In the event of changes, participants will be notified through the contact details provided in their application.
3.3. The organizing committee is not responsible for any costs, expenses, or damages incurred by applicants due to such changes, postponements, or cancellations.
4. Travel and Attendance Requirements
4.1. Fully Funded participants will receive round-trip travel arrangements and accommodations as outlined by the organizers.
4.2. Participants are responsible for obtaining any required visas or travel permits. The organizers will provide necessary supporting documentation but are not liable for visa rejections or travel delays.
4.3. Selected participants must attend all scheduled sessions, activities, and meetings throughout the event. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of benefits and removal from the program.
5. Media Release and Consent
5.1. By participating in the LCGD 2026, you grant the organizers, partners, and affiliates the irrevocable right to take photographs and video recordings of you during the event.
5.2. These photographs and videos may be used for marketing, promotional, and PR purposes by the organizers in current and future events, through any media format, including but not limited to print, online platforms, and social media.
5.3. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and consent that:
- Once any photograph or video of you is uploaded or published, the organizers are not obligated to remove the content upon your request.
- If you request not to use your photographs or videos in future materials, the organizers may consider this request at their discretion, but this will not apply retroactively to any media already published.
5.4. You waive any rights to review, approve, or claim royalties or compensation for the use of your image, likeness, or voice in any promotional materials.
6. Code of Conduct
6.1. All participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully throughout the event, adhering to the rules and guidelines provided by the organizers.
6.2. Any behavior deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or in violation of the event's code of conduct may result in immediate removal from the event, forfeiture of benefits, and exclusion from future events.
6.3. Participants are responsible for any damages they cause to event property and may be held liable for repair or replacement costs.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
7.1. The organizers shall not be held liable for any personal injury, loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the event.
7.2. Participants are encouraged to arrange their own travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, travel delays, or lost luggage.
7.3. The organizers will not be held responsible for the consequences of participants' actions, including legal or travel-related issues.
8. Force Majeure
8.1. The organizers shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform their obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or any other force majeure event.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1. By submitting your application, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data by the organizers for the purposes of event management and communication.
9.2. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as necessary to provide the services related to the event.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
10.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium.
10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, Belgium.
