Building A More Connected Tomorrow
The Future Diplomats Forum (FDF) 2025, organized by the Headway Institute of Strategic Alliance (HISA), was successfully held in Washington, D.C., from April 3rd to April 6th, 2025. The forum brought together a diverse group of emerging leaders, students, and aspiring diplomats from around the world, offering a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and experiential learning in international relations and global governance.

- April 3, 2025
Arrival & Opening
The forum commenced with participant arrivals and registration, followed by keynote and welcome speeches. The day concluded with a networking dinner, providing delegates with an opportunity to build initial connections and engage informally.
- April 4, 2025
Diplomacy, Dialogue & Institutional Exposure
Day 2 was a key part of the forum, combining expert insights, participant engagement, and real-world exposure. Michael Kugelman delivered a keynote on international relations and development, offering practical guidance on global careers and geopolitical trends. Delegates also joined an International Dialogue on the future of diplomacy and presented Youth Statements, sharing their ideas and policy perspectives.
The day concluded with a study and city visit to key U.S. institutions in Washington, D.C., offering participants firsthand exposure to governance systems, policy environments, and institutional frameworks in the United States.

Leadership & Policy Development
The third day focused on strengthening leadership and policy-making skills. Delegates continued with Youth Statements (Group II & III), enhancing their public speaking and analytical abilities
Participants also attended a masterclass on Policy Design Thinking and Strategic Policy Formulation for Sustainable Development Goals, led by Mr. Ahsan Durrani, which introduced practical tools for structured policy development and impact-driven thinking.
The forum concluded with a graduation ceremony and group photographs, celebrating the successful completion of the program.
