02 / Location

Why Geneva? World's Diplomatic Hub

There is no better classroom for a future diplomat than Geneva. This is the city where the Geneva Conventions were signed, where global trade rules are negotiated at the WTO, where humanitarian law is upheld, and where the UN’s European headquarters convenes nations daily. As an FDF 2027 delegate, your program includes institutional engagement with prominent international organizations, offering you:

Exposure to the United Nations Ecosystem

Understand how multilateral negotiations, human rights mechanisms, and international agencies operate.

World Trade Organization Engagement
See how global trade diplomacy and economic policy are negotiated at the highest level.
Geneva's Global Organizations
The city hosts 40+ international organizations and over 180 permanent missions, giving delegates unmatched networking density.
A Truly Global Cohort
Walk the same streets as ambassadors, negotiators, and humanitarian leaders while building your own international network of 250+ peers from every continent.
The first edition took delegates inside the institutions of American democracy in Washington, D.C. including the U.S. Congress and leading think tanks. The second edition raises the bar: from the capital of one nation to the capital of multilateralism itself.
